Many conjectures have been made but the one that I find but logic dates of the times in that you rode for prepared roads to circulate simultaneously in two senses. In those times the gentlemen (and it is not that they were very educated but rather they walked to horse) they preferred to travel of the left side of the road he/she stops this way to have free their right arm in case that the traveler that leave toward the one wanted to attack it suddenly or they even wanted to offer them its friendship shaking hands them.
